Join Fraser Gallop Estate winemaker Clive Otto and award-winning sommelier, restaurateur and certified wine educator, Foni Pollitt for an afternoon of tasting and a long-table marquee lunch among semillon vines.
Get ready for a rustic food and wine experience that takes you deep into the nuances of vintage with a series of Fraser Gallop magnum tastings. Stay warm by the bonfire while you learn about climate, weather, and vintage variations with a guided vertical tasting led by respected and recognised names in the wine and food industry. One for the wine lover.
Please note: This event will be held outside amongst our semillon vines in a marquee. Please wear warm clothes and shoes suitable for walking in the mud. The event may be moved to our Barrel Hall in case of extremely bad weather.
Our winemaker Clive Otto will unpack the influence of natures moods – both good and contrary – as you explore twelve Wilyabrup vintages with a curated selection of Fraser Gallop Estate wines to illustrate the story.
Learn which years were better for which wines and understand the powerful influence of the Wilyabrup terroir and its unique climate.
Formal but light-hearted and interactive this wine tasting promises to make you a vintage virtuoso.
