This wine was fermented and then aged in new French oak barriques, spending a total of seven months in barrel. It also underwent full malolactic fermentation before bottling in October 2004.
Bright condition with light to medium straw colour and some green tints.
Displays strong primary fruit aromas of peach and rock melon, with some lime-like citrus notes and soft, nutty oak background characters.
Medium to full bodied palate, with a rich texture, generous peach and melon flavours, fresh acidity with spicy oak on the finish, providing a firm but balanced tannin.
