This wine was fermented on skins for ten days before being aged in French oak barrels, 33% new, for 17 months and bottled in October 2004.
Bright condition with a youthful deep brick red colour.
Displays a complex array of aromas including mulberry, red currant and violets with soft, spicy oak notes in the background.
This is dominated by ripe red currant fruit flavours, full body with good texture and concentration with a firm tannin finish.
Minimum 5 years.
