2009 Semillon Sauvignon Blanc
A gold-medal winner at this year's Margaret River Wine Show (along with gold's for the 2007 and 2008 Cabernet), Fraser Gallop and its winemaker, Clive Otto, are getting a lot of attention at the moment. Mainly fermented in stainless steel with a small portion of both varieties fermented in one and two year old oak to add complexity and textrue, this fresh, zingy and refreshing white is just the ticket for a barbecued seafood this month.
