The next Cape Lodge Gourmet Event will be a Double Act Wine Dinner and Cooking Demonstration with guest Chef, Penny Williams from the Alila Mangiss Resort and Cooking School, Bali. Penny will conduct a pre-dinner cooking demonstration before joining our Executive Chef Tony Howell in the kitchen to present a fabulous four course menu. Each dish will be matched with the superb wines from Fraser Gallop Estate hosted by winemaker extraordinaire Clive Otto.
Alila Mangiss, one of 12 luxury resorts operated by Alila Hotels throughout South East Asia, opened the first cooking school in Bali and specialises in East Balinese Cuisine, residential cooking schools and Balinese culinary tours. Penny moved from Sydney to Bali in 2005 and has created her own innovative signature style blending a classic European background with East Bali sensations and fresh, natural local Balinese produce.
